Narelle McCulloch completed this in black pencil, her drawing background was only shaped by high school art classes and had just completed her final year 10 at Ulverstone High School in Tasmania, Australia. Completed during the Christmas break 1992. She employs meticulous, detailed sketching to create an image that echo's reality, while imbuing each pencil stroke with personal interpretation, notably altering elements such as faces. Her singular pencil artwork radiates introspection and curiosity, evoking a deeply personal journey through themes of the universe and existential roots.
